  New! AWS VPC Flow Log Integration  
     
  The Sumo Logic platform now integrates with Amazon VPC Flow Logs to give customers the ability to process, analyze and visualize VPC flow logs to bolster their security and provide a deeper understanding of:
  • Who is trying to access your VPC and from where
  • What packets are accepted/rejected and over what ports?
  • Who is trying to access what services
  • Is VPC Flow Log enabled for auditing and compliance purposes
  • Troubleshooting packet latency and why specific traffic is not reaching an instance

  New! Interactive Dashboards  
     
  The new, sophisticated Dashboards are powered by search, providing flexibility to:
  • Explore and visualize both current and historical data
  • Set custom time ranges (both relative and historical)
  • Define custom time ranges
  • Filter data based on field values at a per-Panel or per-Dashboard level
Interactive Dashboards are a new type of Dashboard added to the Sumo Logic application. Live Dashboards still work the same way, and no changes will be made to existing Live Dashboards. However, we recommend you take a look at the additional functionalities available with Interactive Dashboards.

  Setup Wizard-July 2015 Release is now LIVE!  
     
  We continue to simplify and further improve the onboarding experience for new users and made the following enhancements in our July release:
  • A welcome page that clearly distinguishes between a sandbox environment via static file uploads and configuring Collectors to collect streaming data.
  • Intelligent Path Detection to eliminate entering path expressions for common sources like Apache, Linux and Mac systems, etc.
  • A redesigned experience for setting up streaming sources with new supported data types including HTTP, Syslog, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Network, Linux system, Mac system, Windows Events, and Windows Performance.
