1. Eligibility
- The Sumo Logic Customer Awards Program ("Program") is open to all current and good standing Sumo Logic customers who have implemented Sumo Logic products or services.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on October 31, 2024.
- Each submission must include a completed application form.
- Submissions must be in English.
- There is a limit of two (2) entries per Participant.
- Entries generated by artificial intelligence are not permitted.
- Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Innovation and creativity
- Impact and results
- Quality and clarity of the video submission
- The decisions of the judging panel are solely at the judging panel’s discretion, and are final and binding.
- Winners will be notified by email or phone before the official announcement at Sumo Slam Jam on December 4, 2024.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of notification, Sumo Logic reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
- Sumo Logic reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
- For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and legal sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Participant hereby irrevocably grants to Sumo Logic, and their successors, licensees and assigns, a non-exclusive license (but not the obligation) to reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, stream, exploit, make derivative works of and otherwise use the Submission, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including without limitation commercial purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the universe in perpetuity.
- Sumo Logic shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, composite, morph, scan, duplicate, or alter the Submission for any purpose which Sumo Logic may deem necessary or desirable, and Participant irrevocably waives any and all so-called “moral rights” they may have therein. Participant represents and warrants as follows: (i) the Submission does not and will not violate or infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of any other person or entity; (ii) the Submission meets these terms and conditions, and does not and will not violate any applicable laws, and is not and will not be defamatory or libelous.
- Participant agrees to indemnify Sumo Logic, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and representatives, and hold them harmless from and against any and all third party claims, liability, judgments, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including penalties, interest and reasonable outside attorney's fees and costs in the defense and disposition of such matters arising out of, resulting from, based upon or incurred because of a breach or allegation that, if true, would constitute a breach by Participant of his or her representations, warranties, covenants or obligations hereunder, including, withoutlimitation, any action or statement made by Participant while participating in the Program.
- Participant grants to Sumo Logic, and its designees, a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, broadcast, publish and otherwise use the Participant's name, company, title, statements regarding this Program, image, photograph, video, voice and/or likeness for advertising and promoting Sumo Logic and this Program, and reporting the winners, in any and all media now or hereafter devised without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. This Program and all entries are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
- Personal information collected as part of the Program will be used in accordance with Sumo Logic's Privacy Policy.
- Sumo Logic, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and representatives, will not be liable, and are not responsible, for damages of any kind related to an Participant’s participation or inability to participate in the Program, whether the damages are direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply
- Sumo Logic reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Program at any time without prior notice.
- By participating in the Program, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Sumo Logic.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles
